In our earlier Circular dated 29-10-2025 we had informed that Banks have increased their Indents to IBPS for recruitments of clerical staff from 10,277 to 13,533. This along recruitment in SBI for 6,589 clerks, came to total recruitment of 19,942 clerks for the year 2026-27. Now Bank of India and Union Bank of India have further revised and increased their Indents from 432 to 1700 and from 600 to 1500. Thus, in the 11 Nationalised Banks, the total Indent has gone upto 15,701 and the total Indent including SBI would be 22,281 (from the earlier 19,942). We appreciate the follow up efforts made by Federation of Bank of India Staff Unions and All India Union Bank Employees Association in this regard.
