**First Meeting of New Office Bearers and Immediate Action Plan**
The newly elected Office Bearers of AIBEA held their first meeting in Bengaluru on 2 July 2026, presided over by Com. B.S. Rambabu, President.
A large mass meeting was organised by the Karnataka Pradesh Bank Employees Federation the previous evening to introduce the new leadership. Com. Rambabu and General Secretary Com. C.H. Venkatachalam addressed the gathering and thanked KPBEF for the excellent
arrangements made for the 30th Conference.
**Key Decisions and Future Programmes**
The meeting reviewed the outcome of the 30th Conference and finalised an immediate action plan. The major decisions taken are:
– Observe the 57th anniversary of Bank Nationalisation (19 July 2026) through meetings, lectures and seminars across all States between 10 and 31 July 2026.
– Hold the first meeting of the Sub-Committee on the 13th Bipartite Charter of Demands by end of July.
– Convene a meeting of All India Bankwise Unions at the earliest to discuss recruitment of CSAs, sub-staff, Armed Guards and issues of temporary employees.
– Organise the next meeting of the Social Media Team before 15 August 2026. – Hold Conventions for Ex-Servicemen employees, Bank Mitras/BCs, and Jewel-Gold Appraisers.
– Conduct special workshops for women leaders and on the new Labour Codes. – Convene a Special General Council meeting before the end of the year to finalise important policy documents on political line,
organisational structure, cadre development, code of discipline, and social media policy.
The first full Central Committee meeting will be held in Patna once all State Federations submit the names of their Central Committee members.
