# AIBEA Delegation to NUBE Malaysia Conference

### Summary
The All India Bank Employees’ Association (AIBEA) has announced that a six-member delegation will attend the 26th Triennial Delegate Conference and 68th Anniversary celebrations of the National Union of Bank Employees (NUBE), Malaysia. The conference is scheduled to run from 14 to 16 August 2026 in Port Dickson, Malaysia.
This participation underscores a strong four-decade-long fraternal relationship between AIBEA and NUBE. In addition to the primary conference, NUBE is hosting two international seminars highlighting the future of trade unions and economic inequality.

**Seminars:**
On 14 August, the delegation will participate in two key seminars: 1. *Challenges and the future of Trade Unions in a changing world* (AIBEA General Secretary C.H. Venkatachalam has been specially invited to address this session).
2. *Low wages and high profits and raising inequality in Malaysia – Who is responsible?*

## **AIBEA Delegation to participate in the 26th Triennial Delegate Conference of National Union of Bank Employees, Malaysia**
Units are aware that AIBEA and NUBE, Malaysia have close fraternal relationship for the past four decades. The 26th Triennial Delegate Conference and 68th Anniversary celebrations of NUBE is being held in Port Dickson, Malaysia from 14th to 16th August, 2026.
AIBEA has been invited to attend their Conference. On the 14th August, they are also organizing two International Seminars:
1. Challenges and the future of Trade Unions in a changing world and 2. Low wages and high profits and raising inequality in Malaysia – Who is responsible?
General Secretary of AIBEA has been invited to address the Seminar on Challenges and the future of Trade Unions in a changing world.
